why not the X-tra Visions? sure, not as blue as cool blues but more functional, besides i hear the human eye reacts slowest to blue, which would make a blue light the least desireable if you want to see well, if thats wrong tho than someone correct me

i dunno about that, i see my light beams get lostled alot on signs and the back of cars whenever i hit a bump, at first i thought sometihng was broken, but everything is secure so i can only assume its normal
That may prove my point. If the headlamp assemblies themselves are too rigidly mounted, the filament in the bulb has to take all the road shock itself.

Interesting, never gave it that much thought. I've blamed the quality of the capsules.

~2-3 year old "Xenon" cheapies checking in. Slightly whiter than stock, but nothing to write home about.

Mark, I'd be really curious to see someone disassemble their 2k headlights, and try to find a way to build in some damping. Maybe some 0-rings or rubber gasket material? Then give the SS another shot.

2 Years 3 Months, the Right Low Beam filament just went dead. That'* the bad news. The good news (if any) is that I can now use that same bulb as a High Beam since the 9004 (remember, this is an OLDSmobile) bulbs are duel filament bulbs. Still, I have to buy one Silverstar headlight bulb after a little more than 2 years of service. I wonder how much longer the left one will last before it becomes a high beam bulb as well???
