I had Silverstar 880ST'* in my 1994 SLE last summer -the right one burnt out at like 4 days old, and the left something like 3 days later.
I transplanted the SS low-beam 9006'* into my 1998 SSE and one burnt out at about 3 months and the other just burnt out I noticed when I saw the car last night.
IMO, I will never buy Silverstars again. I would rather have the cheap blue ones off e-bay. My brother has had his 9004 Xenon blues that he bought off ebay for $15 including shipping for over 5 years now and they are both still good. Much better Bang-for-the-buck.

ha i never really liked silverstars cuz of the price and not blue enough for me. my hyper-whites from street glow are amazing and they send you a alcohol wipe kinda like the hand wipes. cheaper, more blue, free alcohol, yah definately seems like a better choice.

My Aurora ate (literally ate) 5 Sliverstars over 15 months. Suffice to say, I used to pimp SS, not anymore. Cool blues now, so far so good.
