If it doesn't do bi-directional why would I want it?
I guess I'll give those dudes a shout. If they give me a crap product they're close to where I'm from so I can have somebody get face to face.

OBD-2 Vehicle Explorer Scan Tool Browser
i was seriously looking at this,its 240 for everything car wise, new can and all the old vehicles, records data, does bi directional for actuating solenoids for evap troubleshooting, has the man specific pids for cam retard,which is timing on 96-99 vortecs, alot of other man specific stuff, free updates too.

My intrest is to tune cam offset! In Vortec'*! Around here its 75 bucks to have it done.
Has anyone used this software? If so is it user friendly?

Apparently it has a name "car code" did some more snooping found this:
BAT Auto Technical-Professional mechanics giving advice-An Educational Site w/ OBD2 Trouble Codes and Technical info & Tool Store.
It must not do obd1. sound like it does some obd 1 1/2! that has the connecter!

Just to add to this: That was written in 2001, the price has changed and he has added alot advance procedures!

I got these directions from them!: In software in Data page, press Enhance in menu. In the new window select Possible then Send button.
Then just fill in where your needs are! Its about 6 screens deep in the broswer!
