Sad times-car totaled-
My wife is OK which is the important thing but the Bonneville was totaled. Of course it didn't take much to total it due to age and mileage (232794). I couldn't do the body work that was required.
This was by far the best car I have owned and I was hoping to make it to 300k. She still rode good on original shocks! Thanks to all the people on this forum answering my questions, I was able to fix most things that happened over the years.
I stayed in the GM family with the new (to us) car: 2012 Impala LTZ. I hope it'* a long long time before I need to do anything besides normal maintenance on this car!

Sort of. There was a lot of sand left on the road. It'* a down hill "*" curve. She slid right & caught the edge of pavement & when it slid on the soft should she over corrected. She then over corrected again & did a 360 according to people across road. She then went off the left side & bounced off a shale rock wall. From the front left bumper to the rear door it looked like 8 sharp fingers dragged across it. The crazy thing is she couldn't have been going more than 15 or 20 mph.
