I’m thinking of a two door 1987-91 Bonneville or olds with a fwd ASG unit or a 4.6l, or a Rwd conversion with a aluminum GM power plant. From what I understand the cast 400 would have the bonny on its nose otherwise. But a 400 in a 87-91 would be awesome. LOL Actually as much as I love the 92-99 Bonneville the 87-91 has a real chance at being a serious contender for performance do to its size. LOL think of a Rwd 88 with pie cutters up front with Mickey Thompson’* out back and 700 hp. LOL LOL
Now that would be a cool car.

Woosh.

You can get all aluminum custom 400'*. They aren't cheap but they can be bought from various engine builders.

What I really want is for GM to come out with an AWD system based off the northstar or Aurora motor. That would be something that could be easily modified to go into an 87-91 bonne or any H/G body.

http://www.keithblack.com/racing_generalmotors.html

They make all aluminium big blocks mostly as well as all aluminium Hemis hmhh now that would be mice.

Another company that makes aluminium blocks.

If price is no object then order a custom engine from here and then get a custom fuel injetction system.
