Rubbers...what kind do you use?

Normal tire is the Potenza 750 in a 255 / 50 R 17 size and the sticky tires are Mickey Thomson ET Streets Drag radials 255 / 50 R 16 size
I'm right in the middle of you guys with an effective 3.06 ratio running the M/T'*.
Using these numbers and your 2.97 stock gear ratio, your new gear ratio will be 3.09:1.
Not far off what I will be with my new slicks, which is 3.03:1.

Love 'em. not as good on sheer ice as the Triple Treads, but they stop better on rain and snow from my experiences now driving both, frankly that'* more important then acceleration.
Very good for an All Season tire when it'* dry as well. Their performance rubber just has shallower sipes, and few less sipes,

i've got i think goodyear egles... they have almost no tread left now... i got them for free from the junk pile outside of a local gm dealership. They had about 50% tread life left when i got em...
but im lookinfor some new ones, not sure what im going to get...
