Thanks i figured i was tired of seeing all the kids who'* daddy'* buys them an older civic and put a crappy pipe that makes my teeth jarr as it passes and has about as much torque as a truck but lacks the power to use it anywhere but the line.

i understand completely. my 1st car was an 87 caprice classic i inherited from my grandfather cause he went into keemo therapy and couldnt drive anymore. that was just pure luck cause that thing was a cream puff and i turned that puppy into a 9c1 police package. but a civic? i mean jeez i understand girls asking for civics but not guys. if that means im sexist, well as paul mccartney would say, "let it be".

A civic/corolla is a good car to learn on, especially when you don't have much money to spend on gas and if you live in a cold climate. These small fwd cars are a lot more forgiving in the snow when you are just learning how to drive in it. If you get hit, ah its probably a smaller loss for you and the other person. Big Caprices will slide, get stuck in the snow, and crush whatever it hits.

I've seen the red one before here, and can't "see" the donk state of mind at all. That wing suffered from a bout of "no honey,.... your not to large to sit up on my car. Hop right up there.

I don't understand donks because you buy a cheap beater, spend good money on it for paint and excessively large wheels and whatever else. Why not just buy a newer, more reliable car with all that money? Or a Bimmer?

I'm with espee here. I have see so many donks that aren't worth half the money spent on the wheels And tires.... OK, I only only have x amount of dollars. Lets spend 3/4'* of it on wheels and rubber and find some cheap POS to throw a good coat of paint and jack it into the air.??? Am I missing something??? ROFL!

"Crushes what ever it hits"
Nothin wrong with that concept.

ya just gotta know how to drive. i had mine for 3yrs, no studs. had a few broken plates from weightlifting in the trunk and i never slid once. i fishtailed a few times but again, ya gotta know how to handle it. my gp on the other hand, the way this winter'* been, it was unstoppable but it did take a wicked beating now its paying for it big time. but then again i dont have the money to keep up with it the way it should except for the normal maintenance things.
