Reman. parts...
Welp, I'm on the hunt for a power steering pump, and I think with my price constraints I'm going to have to go remanunfactured... I found a great deal on a reman AC Delco through, where else, GM parts direct for around 50 bucks + core... So, would that be worth it at all? Are all reman.* junk??? It'* a 50 dollar difference between that and the new one...
PS. Since we're on the topic, will I need a pulley puller for taking the pulley off?

opened the warranty page......... it is for the gm motors and trannys. Do you have a link to the part you are looking at?
Here is their disclaimer on the bottom of the page:

I've never seen a problem with remanufactured parts. They work pretty well for me. Do some reman companies have a bad history with you? The reman parts should have all new bearings and such.

Imagine A contract Company remanufactures alternators.... Say AC Delco tested 3 Pallets, They may accept one pallet that have fallen within their specified test range, the other are returned... I have had good luck with AC Delco parts both Reman and or New..
I would not hesitate in telling you to get it... But...
Something I want you to think about, If this Power steering pump were to fail it would be a lot easier to take it back to the parts store for a replacement... Do any of the Parts stores have a lifetime warranty on the Pump?
