I would do exactly what Jason recommended....keep the SLE as a daily driver/winter car. Then, buy the GTO, 'Hawk, or whatever for a secondary car.
Good luck with your choice and decision!

If you're going to be living in the north and need a daily driver, a sports car probably wouldn't be wise. Snow and ice are hell on a sports car, not to mention handling and manuvering can be quite a challenge!
I would still keep the SLE and only carry liability on it for coverage. It'* probably the most reliable "beater" you'd ever find since you know it inside and out. My $.02....

No, never had it to the track and never intend to! She'* a garage queen....only out on 100% sunny days. She'll remain stock, too.
That'* just what the spec sheet from SLP indicates. I've never seen one race, either.
I'd like to see that video. Got a link?

For insurance you only insure one car at a time. Winter = Bonne, Summer = Bird. It'* plenty affordable.
I just figure if you want a performance vehicle, get a performance vehicle. DOn't compromise between two things. Firehawks do 13'* stock, Bonnie'* you'd get do 14'* and 15'* stock. F bodies have many more mods, tested mods, and cheaper mods.
GTO wasn't a bad suggestion either, those are quite nice daily drivers.
And anyone who buys a car just for women.
