I think GM doesn't remember what they did. Karen was looking at GM documents and having some other staff research it. They either didn't keep records well, or they want us to pay the $35.00 from PHS. I think that you have a VERY special car. In 1993, it was the most unique Bonneville they made...a new grill that set it aside from the rest of the SE'*, the SSE and the SSEi--the only year they did that.
As for the silver trim, some SLE'* and SE'* had it, some had chrome delete (such as the green ghetto gold package--mine is an SE with the SLE with the black strip instead of silver). I think this is just part of the options unrelated to the SLE package.

I was wondering if the Gold Editions were considered SLE packages. The 5 that I have seen in July including 2 of my club members all had the touring suspension ride and the options of the SLE.
