Dont' know how many SSEi'* were made. But interesting non-the less

BonneMeMN,
I just learned something! According to your post, you DO have an SLE specific grill for the 1993. In 1994-1995 all SE'* had them as well as the SLE'*. Cool! I would now tend to agree with you on the 1993 model. If all the documentation says it is a 1993, it must be. That is the first and ONLY '93 I have seen with the *1993 SLE Specific Grill*

BonneMeMN,
Bill Wren did call. He put a request into Karen (last name withheld) in the Pontiac Division Customer Service. I also called specifically on the '95-97 Supercharged SE'*. It was through this call that Karen gave me the info Bill had requested. Bill posted it up in Techinfo.
Now, She said that according to Pontiac documentation, 1994 was the only year the SLE was broken out. She claimed that it was the only year between 1987-1998 that the SLE was it'* own trim. There was further breakout for the SLE from the SE Production number. sle-sc gave us some other info that he aquired in early 1997 about the 1996 model year. That has also been posted in the same Techinfor article.
The only other sourse one could try it the PHS website. The service costs $35.00 and it doesn't guarentee production numbers. It is a gamble. But if you give them your vin, they will give you a whole bunch of data specific to your car. I haven't gone this route yet because of the fee. If I ever do, I will have my findings posted.

My car was manufactured in June 93, and all the cards, stickers, and manuals say 1993, and yet i have the RPO for it. Maybe they started in in late late 93 I guess... Anyways i saw a 94 or so SLE package today, it had the tell tale silver trim, but it had cloth! It also had Electronic Climate Control. It was interesting to say the least.
