Switch to ceramic brake pads, no dust and not that expensive.

Yep, the only bagdes on these cars are on the door and the trunk, stated "SUPERCHARGED" on the front driver and passenger sides and "SSE" on the trunk. I think the only time the headlamp were stamped was in 1992. The other signature they have are Bonneville SE on the doors I think from '92-93, right? Another thing if you noticed the SSEi'* and some SE'* don't even have the name Bonneville stamped on it. Under the SSEi bagde has SUPERCHARGED under it. I like this topic. Lets get into more details like hidden stash cases in these cars. LOL!!

My SE doesn't say "SE" or "Bonneville" anywhere on it. It only says "Supercharged" on the doors (like yours) and "Pontiac" on the deck lid below the key hole.

As for stash cases, the only one I have found is in my center console, under the floor of the console compartment. There is a little door that opens up into the rear air passageway.

Edited: Correction, my front bumber DOES say "Bonneville".

This data will NOT detail the production numbers for the L67 option on SSE, SLE, or SE models, so you few guys that want to call, you are welcome to!

They didn't want to get hammered by hundreds of calls, so I took the initiative to ask for all the data for us.
check it out (thanks willwren) http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/?article=66

here'* the production numbers copied from the Techinfo post, tried to format to be more readable

I gotta say, I'm the same way about the lack of Bonneville badges. I LIKE the fact that people say WTF is that thing that just smoked me? Unless you get close, there'* no visible indication that it'* even a Pontiac. Most people don't know what a Bonneville is, much less an SSEi.

That data was formatted.....95BonnevilleSESC spent alot of time compling it after Pontiac processed our request. The Techinfo interface screws with the formatting, though.

Interesting. I know they made the SE model in 87, though.

Interesting to see how rare some of the models are. I like the 89 year there, many many more LE trims built then SE. Then in 91 it drops a lot more as well. My neighbour across the street has a rare 91 SE. Also Drifter and his RARE 97 SSEi.

Lucky....

Kinda off topic here, but I just saw a GORGEOUS early 90/91 SSE today. Jet black and not a stinking scratch anywhere. Showroom quality. This HAS to be aftermarket paint. Amazing car. Went by too fast the other way, or I would have followed.

That'* a fairly rare car in extremely rare condition.
