question....
i tried looking on gmpartsdirect... but im not seeing what im lookin for.. i need to purchase a new jack........ long story on that one....would it be better to go to the boneyard?

nah, they would rip them out of the trunk before it goes out to pasture... hit up a wreaker... they'll have one... but it will probably be like 50buxx

Honestly, your "best bet" would be an aftermarket hydraulic. But if you gotta go stock, a junkyard/wrecker/boneyard might have some, if they don't stash 'em away or toss 'em.
