I dont think that if they wore their seatbelts it really wouldve mattered in this case. I never wear mine & refuse to wear them. It sucks what happened to them, but its the ultimate price in doing sometthing that you enjoy doing especially in racing. No reason to sit hear and rip on them. Look in our kill stories & see members had their close calls and driving fast & nobody called them an idiot. So no point of doing it here. Its a Honda Accord by the way.

It may not have mattered if seatbelts were worn or not. However, things could have happened differently if seatbelts were on. We will never know, but seatbelts have saved more lives than they have taken.

Roadrash,
You never wear your seatbelt? Wow. My seatbelt saved my life back in high school so I always wear mine.

I refuse to wear mine as well, although florida does give the seatbelt tickets. Once in a while, I will wear it -- if i know the cops are about (labor day weekend, holidays, etc).. but if i'm in the back seat, there is no way... if the car were to go off into the water or catch on fire, that seatbelt will be the death of me...

my 2 cents..

lol... seat belts holding you back... they probably would have servived the impact... dual air bags would have saved them but they only work with a seat belt...

Not sure...I know that there are alot of nitrous and intercooled turbo Hondas around here...alot of the kids are rich around here, and have never driven a fast car, yet hooking up their Hondas and Nissans with them. The front can get mighty squirrelly when you hit the hp...There are some 13 and 14 sec. Hondas around here, just no experienced drivers...
