well on my way home from school today i saw a ssei the same color as my se so i stopped to look at it. They are asking 1700 obo but it looks like it needs new tires and it has some bondo over the back fender thats not painted so i was just wondering if that is around what they cost i think it was a 95 or a 96 i will look again tonight.

Lots of variables go into the cost. Regular maintainance, mileage, work that may be needed to keep the car road worthy, etc. I would suggest inquiring with the seller on all of the aspects of the vehicle. A price like that immediately triggers a "What'* wrong with it?" Just cosmetic deffects, or are mechanical issues laying in wait under the surface?

I only paid $1200 for a 95 SE. But, we ended up putting about twice that in the just over 2 years we had it and it need plenty more when we got rid of it.
You never know...it may be they just want rid of it. DO a KBB value for your area and that will give you a decent starting point.

Year in this case is huge.

If it'* 95..it'* the S1 motor. 96+ is the S2 motor. I'd be willing to pay more for the S2 motor.
