The pod you linked to is similar to what I started with. 4 or 5 of us have made our own. I also made the one down by the shifter. It was originally a 'hud pod' for a GTP.
Fiberglass. Get the kit, read up, and follow the instructions. I suggest you start with a pillar piece from the wrecker. And someone can give you the right interior color matched paint code as well.
03, come on by. I'll give you a tour of the Zilla and the SLEeper sometime. Maybe even give you some stick time.
