How many miles on the oil currently in the car? If unknown or over 3,000 please change it asap and look for the pressure to return.
If the pressure does not return, please get a manual pressure gauge on this ASAP.
The reason is typically when senders fail..they fail on the high side, not low. A cluster could be at fault..but you want to know for sure. Your crankshaft and bearings may depend on it and time could be vital.

fresh oil change, at idle it is around 30, at low idle it is around 20 or so, or just slightly above the red zone. at WOT it is just above the middle mark on the gauge. I am going to replace the unit either way, I understand they are cheap and easy to do. The sender HAS NOT FAILED but I think it is just giving inaccurate readings, just a guess, and heck the part cant be that much anyway. Going to throw it in the car when I order some other stuff from GMPD
Your oil pressure does seem somewhat low, but we've had low pressure cars in your range operate fine for a long time. In your case, I'd not suspect the sending unit, but rather the gauge. The only way to know is to have the pressure checked by a mechanical gauge.
Let'* get that done, then replace what needs to be replaced. Even your choice of oil filters can affect your pressure.
