paint help!!!!
I have been all over this site and beyond, and I can not find any help.
This is what Bill posted in Lowrider'* paint thread. I don't know where it came from, but it says my car should be Purple Pearl (another site told me this same thing). According to the tech info on this site, my car should be Metallic Polo Green. When my car got hit, and they put the new door on it, they painted it Purple/Grey, and it matched perfectly.
What color is my car!?

91U isn't your paint code.
Look again. 9926 is right below it on the next line a litte to the left. THAT is your paint code. 91U is a standard RPO code for something else. All paint codes are 4 digits.

Do you see all the 3 digit numbers on that sticker above where your paint code is. Those are RPO codes. They are 3 digit and give you information about the available options that are on your car. For instance, any L67 powered car is going to have L67 listed on there. It tells you every option on the car if you know what each code means.

When looking for the color of your car always look for the WA and the 4 didget code that follows... The U is for Upper...
On my 91 LE which is two tone, it has white for upper and Bright silver for lower...
I am the one who dealt with the RPO list... Something that hasn't been touched in a long time...
At one point I was working on a paint code listing, but my Puter crashed and took everything with it...
And there are some occourances that says a certain color was not used in a certain year when it actually was...
Example,
My 91 LE is BC/CC White..
I have found a few times where there was no White listed ....
I need to look over the diffrent paint codes over the years starting in 87 and run through 05 to see what i can find...
Something I may look into if I could ever find the time to deal with it
