Overdrive question
Twice now my tranny has "stuck in 3rd gear" like in hiway speed say 55 or so, when I had to slow down for slow pokes, then when I would moderatly excellerate, it would stay in 3rd, then shift hard into overdrive, making a clunk sound! Is this gonna be bad? The tranny is a repacement GM goodwrench, unknown replacement date, but before I got it, I've had it flushed at least once since I've owned it, and had a pan drop change/filter. thanx in advance!

hey man i know that there is a place around here that will do it for about 125 and it is installed. Try calling a dealership and scheduling a time for the diagnostic scan to see if any trans codes come up!! Ive been there, done that !!!!!!! LOL!!!!! Just be careful for the results and always get a second opinion. It sounds like something simple and will hopefully be good!!! or at least not to bad to repair!!
