Ol Blue stopped at TWO salvage yards this week (big scores)
Stopped just on the Minnesota side of the MN/SD border in Southern MN on Monday on my way to work in Nebraska.
Found a 1994 SSEi (Green with grey AL7'*) hit hard in the front. Also found a Firemist 1998 SE, this one not as loaded as the one I spotted two weeks ago.
Anyhow, I picked up the camel color rear console vents in perfect condition out of the 98 SE and from the SSEi I got the Traction Control/Perf shift/Norm shift pod and the complete like new PONTIAC ACCESSORY KIT!!!!!!! All for a very low sum.
Then this evening on my way home from Nebraska I stopped at a large yard on the SD side of the border. They had 2 SSEi'* -a 1995 and a 1996. I got the excellent tan SSEi floor mats out of the 1996 SSEi as well as the 5-button shift pod from the 96 and the 3 button Traction Control/Perf Shift/Norm shift out of the 95 SSEi.
The PONTIAC ACCESSORY KIT was still in the trunk of the 96, but the car was hit so hard on both sides of the rear end that the kit is pinched in place so I couldn't get it out.
Anyhow, my stops this week really got me some nice scores -pics are coming shortly.
BTW- I think I have TOO many SSEi floor mat sets -I have 2 sets of tan 40th Anniversary Edition floormats, and about 6 sets of SSEi floormats.

See if you can't score me a 95 SSEi PCM that HAS TO BE FROM THE 95 PRODUCTION YR.
94 Production yr/95 model year is junk.

I seriously wonder if Pontiac made the SE SC PCM a little more restrictive than the SSEi PCM, especially in one governed at 104 mph.

the limiter has to do with what ever tires the car came with from the factory, so a SLE SC that had the upgrade tires and Suspension (Bill W) prolly has the 128 limiter

Just realized the kit was missing the gloves. The SSEi mats are still in the work truck out back. Will take a shot of my floor mat collection tomorrow.
The 2-button pod is the original pod for my 95 SE SC -I have the second 3-button pod I bought in the SE SC now -TC will not function until I switch from the ABS pump/module to the ABS/TC pump/module as the wiring is all there.
Here'* an interesting one:
Top pair: 1998 Camel color
Bottom left: 1992-1995 Tan color
Bottom Right: 1996-1999 Tan color
Notice how the 1996-1999 tan looks grey next to the 92-95 tan and 98 camel.
Another interesting note: All three colors have the same part #'* stamped on them. :?

If I'd have remembered anything about a 95 SSEi PCM it would have been to get one for my SE SC that'* governed at 104 mph!!!!
