I go until it tells me to change it. I don't look at the miles at all. That'* what the oil life monitor is for.
When I do my next change I'm switching to AMSOIL which only has to be changed once a year, with filter changes in between.

I just got a prefered customer from a amsoil rep I ran into at seekonk speedway,that will be my next oil also,that filter setup is like 400 bucks..the dual filtration system..

Actually, scratch that. I just looked at my dealer pricing list (got a good hook up) and I can buy enough oil and filters (12 quarts and 2 filters) to last me a year for both vehicles for less than it would cost me to buy conventional stuff for one.
Oh, and I think you're talking about their by-pass systems Vendo. I'm not gonna get that considering I don't have a diesel and won't be make much soot.
