Oh The Joys of Vehicles
Well today i was going to go to get my suspension looked at to get it fixed, i had been told that the strut bearings needed to be replaced... cheap fix. And i was going to go schedual a time at the body shop to get my spoiler installed. Well i stopped at the repair shop first to schedual an apt, and the guy went out and took a look at my car.
After his analysis of the car i don't just need new bearings, i need new, bearings, mounts, and struts! So instead of the $100 i was planning on spending, i get to spend $500 :( There goes my graduation money. And now i dont have enough to get the spoiler installed either.
What really sucks is that i am spending $500 on somthing that nobody will even notice once its done. But it has to be done. I just dont like shellin out $500.

That certainly can ruin a good day and your plans, but after all is said and done, your car should respond much better. If the struts had never been replaced before, then you need them.
That'* one thing about older cars, there are some more expensive maintenance issues that need to be done. The ultimate rewards are usually worth it though.

Look on the bright side.. You could have my situation: One car totaled and the other we just found out is leaking oil like an Exxon tanker and has a broken timing belt.
Now I need to buy two cars. :/
