Where are you planning to mount it :?:
Even though I can't afford one, I was thinking about it, and there'* that big empty spot on the 98'* (probably all 92-99'*) right below the stereo. A little work with the dremel and it'd be easy to read it and reach it. And it wouldn't be on the pillar daring all the ricers to act stupid around you
Like this?

excuse my crappy head unit i got it for 10 bucks
Yeah. Sumthin like that.....

Too bad I can't afford one....

I read the whole manual and yes you could pack it around between different gm units. Any obd 2 equiped gm product that is.
Note: the vortec 4800 does not display the throttle posistion voltage, only glich I found.

Have to give up a vent but with 30 others I'm sure I wont miss it
Will have to make up some kind of trim piece so it angles more to the driver and maybe a wee hood to block the light?
Wish I had a pillar pod though :?
Im not to0 concerned about the angle... i think it might be enough... i know jegs sells bezels to angel guages anyway but i havent looked into them yet...

Did a little install investigation today and I'm happy to say I've found a home.

I'm going to mount mine in the drivers side left top vent, I pulled the trim off today and measured everything up. You need to plug the vent hole so the heat wont get to the gauge and over heat it.
The gauge comes with 5' of cable and plugs into the obd2 port under the steering wheel. It can easily pulled up throught the hush panel and threaded into the vent tube where the tube mates with the vent trim.

No word on a discount yet but they are shipping the backlog orders next week, I'll be happy if they through in free shipping but we'll see.

More news;
They do not offer a group purchace as it goes against their vendor contracts, they mentioned contacting one of the vendors and I did not have any luck :?

Next, there is a problem with the gauge keys going to 'sleep' and not functioning on 2000 and 2001 Gp'*. The problem stems from the security system and it may take up to 2 weeks to show up. They have a special cable that requires a switched 12 volt source aside from the obd2 connector for the Gp'*. In talking with them we are not sure if this issue exists with the Bonnevilles or not?
So I bought one on my own to try out, they will ship me 2 cables and I'll let them know which one works on a bonne, well a 2k at least.

Perfect Pontiac color

Can switch to background or foreground colors
