about drls
where the hell is that disconnect switch you are talking about next to the horn? meaning on the steering wheel or on the column or where?
Also does any one know how to fully disable the remote wireless system on a 1996 model since my remotes broke and gettin new ones is a stupid and expensive i just put in a viper system but the OEM remote entry system is still engaged and can go off accidentally causin a lot of unnecessary noice.
Thanks

I would imagine that physically removing the remote control module, located behind the glovebox, would disable the system. However, having never tried it, I can't be certain.

i emailed a well known source for helpig people disable daytime running lights. So this is my email which is a better explanation for how to disable.
1996-1999 Pontiac Bonneville You must pull the electrical connection from the DRL resistor. The resistor is found on the driver'* front side of the engine bay. First, find the large black box which contains the computer. Next, pull the black box to the left so you can see the horn easier. Once you find the black horn, look to your right you will see a small white box thats bolted to the frame of the car. There will be a electrical connection on the back of the white box snap if off and your done. Once the connector is out of the white box you no longer have drls. The head lights will still turn on so there is no need to worry.
teubok if you want to use this it would prolly help more people who dont open teh engine bay that much.

What is the Canadian Law pertaining to drl ? Can we safely disable them and not get crap from the law ?? I think that would be one of the first thing I do. Next question.. how can I put the drl onto the marker lights like in Chryslers cars ?

I think I will removing the DRL, but was wondering which wire do I tap into to JUST disable the brake light ( not the marker lights ).. since I heard that someone in this forum has already done that, and brought up a valid point of being able to go on the brakes and not have the cop know that you are. Ultimately.. I will also throw in a master light switch that will disable ALL lights ( to go into a stealth mode.. ha ha ha.. ) Anyone know a shortcut to that?? Too lazy to have to splice all wires.. what about through the fuse box? ( A switch before the fuse )

I have a brake kill switch.
Pull out the fuse box, and look at the diagram. Find the brake light fuse, go around to the back, snip the wire going to that fuse, and install an inline switch. I have mine mounted in the dash panel underneath the steering wheel.
