Howdy,
Just a quick clarification,
Is there a standard list of options that are included in the SLE package for 1999? I noticed that most SLE'* of that year have the fog lights in the center instead of the corners. Could you get an SLE with them out on the corners? And are the dual exhausts standard with an SLE or an option as well?
I have a 92 SE that is pretty well optioned out but with cloth. (outboard lights)
I just bought a 99 SLE yesterday on ebay. (inboard lights)
just a little confused
thanks
Bob

My honest opinion, an SLE for the 96-99 body styles is an SE (interior wise) and the outside has the SSE-SSEi look for the exception of the chrome trim outlining. Most SLE'* come with these factory rims as well. The SLE comes with leather seats, 6-speakers, floor shifter, no HUD or air compressor, optional sunroof, CD or tape deck, duals are standard, I think they all have the electronic climate control as well. All do have the foglights inside too.

Thanks for the welcome, the SLE I just bought doesn't have climate control. It can be seen here:

I am a huge fan of the 3800, have had one in a 85 Park Ave (sold it with 213000 mi.)
Currently have one in the 92 SE (147000mi).
Also have one in a 91 Park Ave (144000 mi).
and have another in a 90 Olds 98 (179000 mi).
The info in these forums are great, thanks for the help.

Nice car you just got! My car was one of the first SLE'* when they built a few at the very end of the 1993 year, but it was back when SLE was the option package "Sport Luxury Edition" It was the last year for my one sided "dual exhaust" that sounds very deep. Mine has leather, buckets, overhead console, SSE grill, spoiler, crosslace wheels, chrome trim, and power antennea, full cluster (no silly DIC). There are some other misc things like power drivers seat, my trunk net etc.
