New Land Speed record Achieved

What is the gearing of your 4th gear to make it run that slow. I would think with the 3.71 gearing (or whatever it is) that you have, it would be running quicker than 4500rpms at 140mph. By my calculations (which are probably wrong) our SSEi or GTP, with 2.93 gearing, would be running 3950rpms at 140mph. Unless your overdrive is like .50:1 or something, that 4500rpms seems kinda low. Just wondering if you knew what the gearing is.

Shawn here are some stats
I was not over 4500 RPM at 135-140 mph, that I know for sure, the only problem is...I am not 100% sure that applies to the Autobahn package...either way the OD gearing ratio is LOW....
I'll try to find the Autobahn Gearing stats :?

I gotta show some love to those Aurora'*, I can talk northstar, but no one else. I'm also waiting to hear from our first GXP owner
It'* tough for me to get to those high speeds, I tied in the ssei the other night, only got to 118 or so before 2am Chicago traffic made me step on the breaks.

Nice going Jimbo...... welcome to the 200kph+ Club
I've taken both my 91SSE and my 97SSEi over 200kph, but only on very special (picture perfect) occasions.
Bill'* right though, anyone attempting that type of speed should have tires speed rated for something close to that.
