I hadn't seen a column shifter on a 00+ either. I guess they aren't that popular.

My '04 SE is column shift. Then again, it is a little different.. for example, it doesn't have ELC. As you can see the console shifter is right next to the wiper control arm... took me a little while to get used to that.

One of our early COTM'* was a column shift 00+ SE, from FLA, I forget is screenname though...good guy, I wonder what happened to him.
IIRC, he had leather too.
*edit* it was Mark Remer, he has a 2002, no leather, definitely column shift.
