here are the tires on the 00 right now... NOT GOOD
here is what i can get for free, well i actually have them already, need to decide if i should use them
Hercules G5000Z
235/45/ZR17 97W - reinforced sidewalls and direction tread pattern
they are quite a bit smaller than my even smaller than stock 225/55/R16

I think it will look ok. Its better than hydroplaning and messing up the whole car or sliding into a curb or something.

I like the look of the tread and dont think you will lose a whole inch considering you are trying to compare an inflated tire to an umounted tire. Hey, their free and look like good tires. Try em out.

It'* hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks as if they do not have much more tread than your old ones. If that'* the case, I'd suggest getting new tires instead. Personally, I hated my RSAs in the snow and get rid of them shortly after I bought the car.

The tires you have on now are just a ticket or worse waiting to happen.
The 235/45'* will be noticably shorter but should get you by untill you can get something better.
If you can afford new tires that would be a better option.

the tread is not brand new by all means, but i love the pattern, and they do have more than what i have now...
