Whistler, if you are mechanical, or have buddies that are, get a case of beer, invite them over and do it yourself. A weekend should do it.

I did it over a weekend and the engine in perfect running condition with a 6-month warranty for 600.00 after tax. That was with all the parts. I suggest getting a rebuild if you like the car.
