NEBF Summary
Things started Thursday night when Geoff showed up around 9pm. We worked on cars into the night.
Friday, junkyard run... Aaron and Jim were here around 3pm and we worked on more cars. Randy cruised over straight from work. Canopy was put up. We finally called it about 3 am
Geoff called the couch, Jim the spare room floor w/air mattress and Aaron cuddled in the office with the centipede game.
Saturday Randy, Doreen, AJ, Maggy, Bob and Carl all cruised in and mods were happening. The most major mod was Aaron'* exhaust manifolds. Boy that back one on a 2000 is ugly. We went to bed around 1-2 am
Sunday Randy, Doreen, AJ, Hailey and Rob cruised in and we had another great day. Jim left in the morning to get things done and be back for work. Sleep was early I think..too much beer.
Monday Geoff and Aaron assisted with the cleanup. Then Geoff and I worked on the cars more after Aaron headed back home.
All in all we ate about every two hours. Silverware or plastic forks and plates became very optional. Beef was the food of choice. Beer and margaritas...and pink ding a lings were present and consumed well.
I'd like to put a huge thanks out to everyone that came. I was pretty much able to kick back and enjoy with an awesome group of people. Everyone brought stuff, we nominated cooks.. others cleaned.. some supervised.. Even my neighbor and his family were in on the action, bringing over food and lending the tent/lawn furniture.
I have no idea how to tell everyone what a great bunch of people we have here and how much fun we had. There is talk about another meeting. Many people weren't able to make this one... But we need the WHOLE group together.

You left out one very important person... YOU.
I couldn't think of a better person to host a 4+ day BBQ. You invited all of us in with a "my house is you house" attitude. You sacrificed your carpet, lawn, sanity and a TON of booze just to make us happy and comfortable.
Let me also give you a special thank you for the use of the house/garage and all of your help during the Frankenbonne project. I couldn't have done it without you.
Three cheers for Bill Boost.

Almost asleep and thought.. Crap..I forgot someone.
Chris.. he was here both Sat and Sun. And sacrificed when we ran into Walmart at the worst part of the downpour. Took the poor guy like 2 hours to dry off. (which I think is why he was in such a rush to light up the Ford and Tempo badges)

Three cheers is right. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a Sunday, and I can't wait for the opportunity to do it again. I arrived a little nervous at meeting a bunch of new people in person at once, and left with a big smile on my face, a ton of meat (Bill gave us enough burgers to last weeks...thanks Bill!), and working foglights (again, Bill, thanks). It was relaxed, fun, and friendly...to those of you who didn't make it this time, you don't want to miss the next time (I know I won't).
Once again...thank you so much Bill! You're the best!
And AJ, thanks have to go to you too. I can't believe all the things you did for us. You cooked (amazing food ), cleaned, helped me cook, brought great T-shirts, and generally looked out for everyone else. You rock.
Everyone was so great...what a first class bunch of people. So glad I got to meet you all.

What a fantastic time you all must have had. That makes three spectacular meets this summer. It doesn't surprise me one bit that everyone that attended became instant friends. It is obviuos that the members of this club are some of the friendliest, most fun people around. Congrats again to all on the successful fest. Once again, BC is the best club around

It was a great time. i just got home after helping clean and doing oil changes. It was a tough ride home (kinda tired) but I arrived safe and it was well worth the drive there and back.
I think the whole bonnefest should be at bill'* place next year. We got hotel'* near by for the MN and mid west people, a large back yard and nicely wooded area for the west coast campers, and bill'* house, grill and garage for us east coast partiers.
