Thumbs down Fail safe thermostat

We purchased a failsafe thermostat for my daughters car. The first one locked open. Took it back and got another one and it was faulty also. The second one caused the head gasket to go out on the car. We will never purchase motorad parts again. They refuse to fix the car and is costing my daughter 1500.00 to gat her car fixed. They don't stand behind their parts and they don't care about their customers. The president of the company won't even listen to their customers. This is bad business and cost people money that they don't have. So if you buy a thermostat for your cars or trucks don't buy motorad thermostats because they are faulty and can cause damage to your vehicles.

Prestone makes a better quality thermostat that fails to the open position.
They generally have a few temp selections to choose from as well.
