Mini-Van Destroyed by Blazer!

So I'm driving home with my son this evening.
We turn onto the main drive and following behind this Blazer SUV.
All of a sudden we notice it is starting to wander over into oncoming traffic, then weaving back and forth.
I remark to my son that this guy must be drunk and proceeded to back off a little. I was only a couple minutes from home so I got his license number and was going to call it in. Wife had damn cell phone.
The speed limit is 50 kph on that road.
I was matching his speed, albeit at about 100 yds behind him, doing about 85 kph.
He catches up to a mini-van. I saw the van hit its brake lights and then the Blazer'* lights came on............and then we heard a loud crash!
and saw the debris spraying out from between the vehicles.
My son learned a good lesson tonight on the perils of drinking and driving.
He says I should have pulled out in front of him and saved the van with my super powers but meh I haven't seen a good crash in a long time.
No one was seriously hurt. An ambulance, firetruck and two police cars attended the scene. The Van was full. The Blazer had a lone driver who wasn't wearing a belt and pushed his face thru the windsheild. :P
Whiplash for a few van occupants. :(
