I won't let anyone touch mine if I can't watch or at least look in while the work is being done. The only time that has happened was at the dealer when i had the struts and the SC gasket done

I had no problems with having them install a high flow cat.

I had a great experience at my local midas last week.....Tech topped off and trouble shooted on my A/C issue for an 1hr and half and didn't charge me a dime, and he told me how to get by until I find a programmer box.
Plus I've used them in the past too.

I went into the Midas near me a long time ago to get my brakes checked. The guy seemed real nice and not like he was trying to sell stuff I didn't need. Was going to try to turn the rotors even though they would be close to the limit. But the labor was $$$$ so I said no thanks and did it myself for around $450 less.

The Midas shop by my house is really good. they are honest, and if its a repair that can be done yourself really easy they'll tell ya about it... or at least they did with me! and even at that, they did a lot of "custom" exhaust work on my old jeep too. The owner, or manager (not sure how they operate...) seems to be quite the honest guy.
