I think before they even thought of bringing back the Bonneville, we would need to have a petition with 4000 signatures of people willing to BUY a new Bonneville.
Maybe...just maybe we can get GM to hand over the rights to Bonneville, let us design it and market it and have them produce it. Each new purchaser will receive a free Bonneville club membership, and every new Bonneville Owners Manual will be personally signed by Bill.

You just might be on to something there . Unfortunately, like others have said GM doesn't care about what the consumers want. It is all about bottom line. If I thought it would help to write a letter I would in a heartbeat. Things change and we just have to roll with it. The only other thing is to spread the word to stop buying GM products until something is done but even then the odds are against us.

Give it up. I've discussed the recent failings and the demise of the Bonneville on the phone with them. The decision is was far too complicated, and there'* no going back. Not for a couple years at least, anyway.
