"keyless" entry isn't so keyless anymore..
The keyless entry is acting up on my mom'* car. The driver'* door won't unlock when you push unlock on the remote, but it can lock alright. It will not unlock with the power door locks either. You have to use the key to unlock the driver'* side door. It doesn't really make sense why it would lock, but not unlock.
Also, is there anyway you can turn off the feature that unlocks all the doors when you unlock a door with the key? that is really annoying!

I have had similar problems using my remote before on my '95 SSEi. I took my remote apart to find that some of the connections inside were broken. If you take it apart you can get inside to where the connections are and clean them up too.
Now if you have more than one remote and it happens with both, well then I really don't know. But this might be a spot to start.

How about this: I know from experience (doors apart many times ) that if one window control (say pasenger rear) is disconnected the drivers control for that window will not work either. It might be possible for the door locks to operate the same way. What you might want to try is to pop out each door control and make sure those connections are clean and secure. They are easy to get to with a screwdriver (used to pop them out). A bad connection in one of those may cause something like this to happen.
just my 2 cents...

As long as the electrical is OK, it'* probably needs a new bumper kit. Check to see if you get any movement, or can feel anything when you press the unlock button on the door. Then you know the electrical is OK.
I've had it happen once on the drivers door, and once on the passenger side door. You have to take the door apart and install a new bumper kit. I hate taking the doors apart, so I have had it to the dealer twice in two years. Each time it cost me about $90.
