Why didn't you go with an Optima? I'm asking because of the cost associated with these batterys, looks like it would have been close enough in price to go with one. No vent needed with them? (asking) At least that'* what I thought anyways.

i dont even know what the Optima is, is it a name brand for a battery company? i just went to napa and ask for the stock replacement.

We went over this a couple months ago. I emailed Optima and they recommended not buying their battery. It'* a sealed battery, but apparently it has some sort of safety vent because they said if the battery happens to over charge, it will vent. So that would be bad, unless you can figure out how to hook up vents to the outside.
