Default Intense Roller Rocker warning, my story and pictures

Alright everyone, I'm sure alot of you are on clubgp.com, so you've seen my lengthy post about the wear problem on the gen 3 roller rockers:

http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.as...mode=1&smode=1

Please take a look everyone, this is turning out to be a wide-spread problem and I think anyone with these rockers needs to pull the front cover and check!!!!!!!!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me:

Yes, i know it was brought to your attention, but I was contacted by several members here on bonneville club saying that alot of people were just blowing it off.

I'm here to reinforce the fact that this isn't an isolated incident. Every single day I get new emails saying people are checking and finding wear!!!!

For your sake, check it out.

The cars running that Gen have already checked. 2 of them have MANY miles on them, and neither have exhibited any sign of wear.

Thanks just the same, but it looks like you got a bummer set. Good thing INTENSE has good customer service. Sounds like they have a solution for you.

I agree with copgtp! CHECK YOUR ROCKERS PEOPLE, DO NOT BLOW THIS OFF!

13,000 miles on mine, and 8 of 12 rockers were worn or starting to wear...

At least I was lucky enough to salvage my O/R pushrods to try and get some of my money back, but now I have 12 - 399$ paperweights sitting in my garage and a ticking timebomb of a motor with all the aluminum shavings that were going thru it

Howdy. The owners on this forum HAVE already checked them. We've been all over that. Many thanks for the concern.

Sorry, I do not mean to intrude on your guys forums, just trying to warn the people who haven't checked them yet to do so. It doesn't take that long to pop off the front valve cover and take a quick peek!

Take care!

Let me get my hip waders on before I click that link.
In all seriousness I saw that post back when it first started and have followed it on both CGP and 3800pro. Unfortunately, at both sites it seems that the true spirit of the GP community rears it'* ugly head in the form of name calling, bashing and whatever other negative terms one can come up with.
With that said, all owners of defective item are aware of the situation, so PLEASE leave the drama on the other forums!

I don't think a solution has come up yet.

Thanks for your concern. I checked mine last weekend and they are perfectly fine.
