Installed a 180 stat and my brake pads today....
Well i got a valuecraft 180 stat at autozone for 4.99 so i figured what the heck so i bought it and wow my temp used to be like 200-215 and now the temp is always like 155-180 and it makes a huge difference on the cars running temp I was gona get the 160 stat but i figured that it would run a code or make it run to rich and i'm glad i got my brake pads on today cause they were just getting to metal lol i feel much better now about my car sigh dunno what the 180 stat does for performance wise probally not much at all i dunno

I use the 180F as I am in Florida... But its about due for a new T-Stat... I didn't like how mine has started to stick, and does not stay dead on 180F like it used to...
180 will be fine... But the winter months you may want the 195 for heat... But we'll see what the 180 does for you..
