I dont know about the whole lawyer deal, what were you doing to get the ticket...or should i say what reason did the officer give you?

Depending on the charge, we have a system of lawyers here who work for reduced rates for people who don't qualify for a public defender, but can't afford a full lawyer. I think it cost me 300 bucks (Long story)

They were hanging out at the court house when I had my preliminary date. Check your phone book. Here in Minneapolis, a third of the yellow pages is lawyers!!
