BTW.. you'd put it in a high gear and drop the clutch to stall.. never want to engage w/o clutch.

Edited again... :? This is not normal...I totally FUBAR'd that paragraph...it'* fixed now... but I'm thinking it'* not necessarily a part of the brain.... rather perhaps I need to start taking the Midol. Thank you for the help, CupCake!!

Thanks Tom! I will tell him. He bought the new ignition switch today and is going to ask the Auto Techs at the Tech School if they will fix it. They did some other work for him - it cost him two pizza'*. He'* enrolled in the Electrical program, and kids take things all the time to be fixed. It'* quite handy for him and it teaches kids at the same time.

This thread made me think of my go cart. The ignition is broke on it, luckily we have a kill switch on the motor. We just leave the ignition on all the time.
