only thins is with that mileage I can only imagine what will be around the corner for repairs. I am also loosing the first car we had which is the white 90 SSE and is a parts car. It is on it'* way to where ever she wants it to go. I think my next one will have to be a 2k+.
Well seeing that Franky is not available anymore that is.

Back on topic.
This is very saddening to read. Please, SOMEONE, take this car, make it a project, put another drivetrain in it and make it like new again!! It is not right for a car of that condition to go to the JY. AT LEAST PART IT OUT!!! Theres a ton of good parts you could put on e-bay and probably make back alot more than $100!!!
I wish I was closer, I would take it in a hot second for $100!!!!

And keep in mind Frank lives OUTSIDE the Toronto city limits. There'* a further price premium for city dwellers like myself.
I take the bus to school for this reason :(

Anyways, I do know that insurance is slightly more around large cities, but I mean, come on....$4,300? Thats just slightly excessive.

Insurance rates in Ontario are outrages.
I sent Mike G a pm, and await his response, although I haven't seen him on this forum for some time.
Think about it though, if you we're in my situation, would you keep the 90 SSE on the road and have you're son'* insurance rates raise by $3000. That'* just not fair.

Geez, you know if I had a place to put it, I'd pick it up in a heart beat! That'* immaculate for a 300k mile car! I just hope 100 dollars is a BC-only price. I'd at least try for 1k!

So what really needs to be done to that car anyhow?? I know it is a far drive to get there for me but I mean if it is really in good shape it just might be worth it. My current white car ( parts car) is really showing it'* age with only a bit over 200,000kms on the odo. There is now a huge hole in the floor on the drivers side and the rear subframe is also rusting away ( original reason I pulled it off the road).

However, Franky said that he would drive it to Florida with no hesistation so I would trust that the Bonnie is still in good shape. And if it still runs perfectly, then it just may be the best 100 bucks you spent.
