I bought the car for like $2800, only put 4k miles on it. I also put some stuff into it to make it nicer (angel eyes, CAI, etc.). I don't want to lose money on this car.

Why not just keep what you have if you're only looking to get a car that'* a year or two newer (as I read in the For Sale forum)?

Call the guy to see if he is still planning on getting it if he says yes say good I can be to ouyr house in 25 min to save you the hasle of coming to get it. But make sure you do this when the bank is still open so if he says he dose not have the money out you can just go "I the bank is still open for the next 30min I can wait the few extra min to get you the car.
