fire it up.. get most of that cleaned out with a good couple of revs...
I can see 8psi making a difference when added to the total compression, but the HG'* even on L36'* seem to take a lot more boost than that w/o having issues. I don't want to believe you popped an HG that easy.

hmm..... boost kills LIM gaskets, extra pressurizes radiator, blows radiator, when motor is off or when there is no boost, coolant leaks in through LIM gasket?

now would be a good time to invest in the MLS headgaskets on WOT-Tech...
were you experiencing any kind of knock in those conditions? the pressure spikes generated by detonation or preignition can do that. and at least it seems that the HG'* are the fuse, not the pistons or rods.

I don't think so, but it'* possible.
