buick IS a more premium brand compared to chevrolet and pontiac, and generally close or tied with oldsmobile, but top dog is cadillac, always has been.

production numers aren't everything... GM sold HUGE amounts of third gen j-bodies, but that doesn't mean they were a good vehicle.
i am interested in production numbers though, do we have an unbiased and accurate source for both the GM 60V6 and buick 3800(or do you want the chevrolet 90V6 included?)?

I honestly find it a little disheartening that they both blew in the same spot. Well, lets hope Felpro'* hold out. I've got a 3 day wait for them to come in. Nobody keeps them in stock because nobody blows them up like I do.

Got a call last night. "Is the longer pushrod exhaust or intake"... WTF.. lol I sent Dad'* car out because I didn't wanna deal with it. The exhaust pushrod is 6" the intake is 5.75" FWIW. Does the exhaust being longer hold true on all these 60'*?
If we assume a lean condition caused some heat and blew the gaskets then it makes sense that the centers both blew. The middle cylinder by nature gets the hottest. Intense in a lot of their tunes, adds a little extra fuel to the middle injectors to combat the extra heat.
How'* reassembly going? BTW..what bolts do you guys use for reassembly? I looked everywhere for the rocker bolts and no one carried or could get them.

Are we supposed to replace rocker bolts?
Yeah, the exhaust pushrod is longer on all 60* pushrods.
I'm waiting on gaskets to come in. So no reassembly yet. I did take this awesome picture of half a motor and a large turbo
