Sorry to say I wont be able to if I want an SSEi.

what do you mean? a non-I/C turbo kit is 3k and 4k for intercooled. you can do a basic swap for cheap. hell mine will end up costin me about $200 roughly. now the accompanying mods.......thats a different story

Problem with doing a swap into a non L67 Bonneville is there are quite a few differences in the wiring like the fuel pump speed control module and others, let alone wanting that nice SSEi gauge pod with the boost gauge built in. Personally I would wait till college is over and save up to buy a good SSEI if that is what you really want. I do swaps all the time but mostly into cars that did not have the L67 option, it is a lot of work and time for something that like in the case of the Bonneville came stock. Dan

but some of that wont be hard if you have the correct harness and dont worry about swaping clusters.

Can I agree to disagree on some things?

Yes the fuel pump wiring would need to be addressed, BUT if you are swapping out the L67 it wouldn't be a bad idea to swap the fuel pump also. If you get a L67 engine wire harness except for a few wires (mostly the fuel pump and controller) everything matches. Personally, I would leave the stock cluster in place and then run an aftermarket boost gauge (would likely be more accurate anyways).

Fuel pump module is simple, just don't forget to remove it from the donor car along with a length of the harness. I mounted mine in the general factory location and only had to run 2 additional wires if memory serves me right.

I used the entire tank assembly. Fuel pump, sender and all. Be carefull with the fuel level operating range though. The senders changed from 0 ohms empty/90 ohms full in 96 to 40 ohms empty/250 ohms full in 97
