I knew I wasn't alone!
I knew i wasn't the only one out there that loves the Bonny! I bought a 1997 SE in 1999 and it is everything I knew it would be. There aren't many cars out there that are that big and love to run that much and can take it. I've wanted one for a long time and when my truck finally died I pulled the trigger. it is a white with grey interior and 5-spoke wheels. I will have some pics up of it on my site that I am gonna make soon, like tonight soon I will show what i have done as far as stereo upgrades. I am one purchase away from completion on that end so I am exstatic that I found this site in time to start doing my performance upgrades. I found a guy who will make a chromed intake for the 3800, that will be one of my first purchases. Then I will look for a performance chip and exhaust upgrades, the fun is about to begin all over again. I love the site and look forward to reading and chatting with you guys and gals in the very near future.

Thanks DeathRat and Big Al!!
Hey DeathRat, I am looking for a hard to find part, I need front door speaker grilles for a 1997 SSEi, the small ones in particular. I called pontiac and they said it is not a replaceable part, you have to replace the whole door!! Think you may have an inside tract to a pair of them?

Terminator, just the man I am looking for, you have a reall nice ride man, I saw your site, me and my buddy was checking it out today and just gawking at the size of the BRASS you must have to rip the dash out like that. Great work, but if I saw my car like that I would be on my knees crying!! We thought you were porting your AC to cool your amps or something. I am making a custom sub enclosure for my box in the trunk, right now I have mine covered the same way you do, it works but can be better. I will post pics and let you know how I did it when I am done, hopefully in a couple of weeks. I got some other stuff going in this weekend so I might get around to it actually. heck, if you want I think i will have enough parts to make 2, but I will post pics so you can see. Nice ride again.

Hey Buddha! Thanks for the comments man!! Porting the A/c ducting to cool amps... Hrmmm, not a bad idea!! hehe The dash really wasnt that bad, it looks ALOT worse than it was! The dealer wanted $1400 to fix the air-mix doors and get me heat again, and I was like Forget That!! Just followed my Factory Service Manual and did it myself. Ended up costing me $80 in parts from the dealer total, including next day shipping. I just added a NEO 80-gig MP3 Player this past Sunday (8/25), so maybe tonight I can get some pics and throw them up on the site. I mounted the display right above the climate control display, and next to my phone kit.
Also I sunday I removed the RF 6x9'* and threw the stock ones back in for now. The Magnets on the back were so huge they were interfereing with my compass in the dash (the sensor is under the rear deck). Still doesnt sound bad at all, and this way the stock amp and gain control are still in use too. I also made a couple of brackets to hold the JL Audio Powerwedge box in place, and removed the spare tire and cover. I have Air bags in the rear springs that keep the back end up with all the weight quite nicely, and also help ALOT when towing the waverunner.
Anyways, definetely post pics of your install!! If you have any questions, just ask man!! Welcome to the Club!! Also, if you want to chat with some of us real-time on-line, check out this post and follow the directions:
