When the orange led is on, the fog lights should be on. If not, replace the bulbs, fuse, or check the wiring.
Check the brown wire at the switch for 12V when the parking lamps or headlights are on. Check the black wire for ground at all times. Check the purple/white wire for 12V when the switch is on. This sends power to the fog lamp relay under the dash, which in turn sends power to the lights if fuse 2 is good.

If all this is good, check fuse 2 (15 amp). You may also want to check relay "G" in the relay center under the dash. Feel or listen to it as you switch the fogs on or off with the headlamps on.

The whole point is that the indicator lamp may be out, but the lights may still work. The lamp is only an indication of whether the switch is on, not whether the fogs actually light up.

i beg to differ...i just got some stockers right now, and i can easily tel when they are on and off, they work great
On an SE the fog lights aren't any different color then the headlights, and light up the same area.

Hate to break it to ya Jason, but I agree with the Freak. Even with my old stockers, I could tell whether they were on or not. Probably depends on the condition of the stockers, but mine made a difference. My Cyberwhites make a better difference, tho...

same with the horn... im sure im not retarded on this one though. and where is it located under the hood.
Check the relay for the horn. Mine was shot when I bought the car and my inital thought it was either the horn or the fuse too. Got a junk yard relay, popped it in and it'* been fine ever since.

Yes, sounds like another cut wire or the contacts in the steering wheel need to be cleaned. If you have a Chilton'* manual, follow the procedure for removing the air bag assembly and clean those contacts.

Yeesh. What _happened_ to this car: was it attacked by squirrels?

Re: your questions in general: If you haven't got an owner'* manual for this car yet (not the service manuals, just the owner'* manual), do that soon. You can order one here: http://www.helminc.com

Your car has loads of fun equipment in it and the manual will give you a lot of useful information.
