How Often Do You Replace Your Wiper Blades?

The Rain-X Latitudes have a bit of a curve to them, they do not perfectly get that curve you are talking about, but they do seem to get a tad more of it then my old wipers did.
Rain-X LatitudeŽ Wiper Blades - Rain-X
The revolutionary Rain‑X LatitudeŽ wiper blade contours to the curvature of your windshield to provide even wiping pressure along the full length of the blade.

ive had the lattitudes, the autozone house brand beam blades, and the trico old fashoned style. personally i cant tell a difference between the rainx and the autozone beams.
the beams work better by far, but they do have a 2" patch about 3" tall on the far passenger side which does not touch.
next im thinking about trying the bosch icons. or seeing what gm uses stock on the new cars. my grandparents have an 07 lucerne with the stock beam blades, they still look and preform like new.
one thing that helps, no matter what blades you use is the rain-x brand washer fluid. you can use it in pouring rain and it will make the water bead so much that you almost dont need wipers at all.
as for me, im at about 2.5 years on the duralast wipers.

I usually like to replace them twice a year, especially when it gets dusty during the summer. I do however clean them up a little by taking a rag and some RAIN X, and wipe the blades down, it seems to help make them last a tad longer.

Bonneville has a set of RainEater wiper blades. They've been on there for over a year, still working just fine. Now they're not doing a damn thing though.
Truck had the same ones, and I changed them a little premature. Put on a set of Trico Flex blades, their bargain beam blade. Don't do that. My passenger side has a 3.5" spot that doesn't wipe until 1/4 of the motion.

Looked at my wipers today, and noticed there was more of the wiper not touching the window on the passenger side than I thought, it is about 3" not touching the window until the wiper gets over 1/4 the way up the window, I did not think it was that bad.
The drivers side is not as bad, but it is close.

Ya William really I am not surprised, I also experience this especially as the wiper blades get older, it seems they flex less, thus the need to replace em.
I have heard of many PA owners also using a 1 inch or so shorter length blade, to aid in the glass curve problem& to take less weight of water (faster/easier wipe for motor) being moved.
I wonder if those flex blades Mike was describing would be worth a try...??

No, they do the same thing on my S10'* glass. I'm thinking of going 1" shorter for the passenger side. But the Bonneville they rock on!

The trucks have a weird concave to them on the passenger side. The RainEater blades I had on the Silverado worked great, but these cheap Trico Flex'* have that gap.
I think I'm going to try the Trico Onyx blades next.

Jason- Re Rain X Fluid -I'm going to try that!
(I like your Rain X commercial from youtube Canadian Tire)
Your personal video really confirms it as well. Your windshield clarity is way better than mine/scratch city.
Will get some Rain X fluid to try soon !
