How many 87-91 Bonnies remain on the road?

Well mine is definitely a keeper. Shes got rust, sure, but mark my words. She will NEVER leave my posession. As soon as I get enough money up, no matter what other car I'm driving, she will be roadworthy.
Amazing quality car it is. Never left me stranded, only not started once, replaced the starter and I was back in business.
When I have time and money, I will tear her completely apart and rebuild her 100%. Everything will look like she just came out of the showroom, and after I do that, she will be kept in a garage at all times and only driven on clear summer days.
There are still cars on the road from the 50s, why should ours be any different?

I hear ya wjcollier07, the only problem with me is that I ended up getting a newer year Bonne for less than what it would cost to bring the 90 back in great shape so I think the 90 is going to retire when the plates are up. I figured if I just let her go with out really putting money into her she would have lasted another couple of years, but I'd rather put money into the 95 since I'd like her to last longer than that.

another ontario sse!
here around peterborough i funnily enough see more sse'* from 87-91 than regular bonnevilles! there has to be 4 or 5 running around including mine and i've only seen a couple of the others, both of which look like they are not long for this world. one of the sse'* looks like its seen a couple of wars but the others (mine included!) look pretty darn good!
none in the wreckers tho. the only yard i knew that had one just closed this summer.

Can you tell I like my car? hah
but I DEFINITELY will end up getting a newer bonne, but its gonna be an SSEi. Not getting any bonne until I have enough for a 2000+ SSEi.

I 2nd that emotion wjcollier07! I'm getting ready to smooth out a dented door and a small wrinkle in the hood. Then I think I'll paint her myself. She'* going to be mine forever and always, may as well put in my own time and effort!(Unless I really screw it up and then I'll have noone else to blame!)

One real sure-footed way to ensure our cars don't hit the scrap yard, is a good undercoating, everywheres. One even better insurance is to NOT drive the car in winter. you go down south, and you'll see many cars like ours, and there are literally tons that have barley any rust on them, and have high miles.
Anyways, yeah, wish we didn't have to contend with mother nature with the rusties, and whatnot.

I see two or three daily it seems around here in a very small community. None of which look to be well taken care of or a prized possestion like you guyses are, but still running none the less.
