Hi
Needless to say..I did not swing towards the ricers.
In over 25 years on owning/driving a car...and perhaps having 20 cars in that time frame. I've had all GM, save for one T-Bird. (which I liked)
Most of the GM'*..have been Olds. Dont know why..just always seemed to happen that I went to the "Rocket" mark.

There is nothing wrong with the "rocket" engines--or the LSS for that matter. I think the LSS with the L67 is one of the truest sleepers out there. Best in black!

The ignorance of most car salesmen is great.
Most car salemen that I meet on a car lot are not car guys.
Seems like many of them are short-timers between other jobs like being a drummer or something.

Hi
I am a difficult person to sell to anyways. I like a certain type of ride...and while I am willing to give other cars a chance....I always seem to stay with the general.
My LSS looks like the "file photo" seen on the http://www.edmunds.com/used/1997/old....0.Oldsmobile* LSS description.
Its pewter in color...and has all options with exception of slider and */c 3800.
Do the later L67'* still require premium fuel?

Hi
I drive too many miles..and the added expense would make a */c impractical. Too bad 'cause I would have enjoyed it.
There is a pristine black '99 LSS L67 in town which is much nicer than mine. My LSS was owned by an older woman who, except for oil changes, neglected it shamefully. Most of the needed issues have been fixed on warranty by the dealer free of charge. The a/c compressor * the final issue and will go back to him tomorrow.

Hel-Lo
Ive been relishing my 94 Bonne (somewhat opposite of this topic) with 41k on it. I get a good laugh with my friend who just spent a ton more money on a 2000 Hyundai Sonata with 90k. I woulda sure had fun with a */C tho, but i cant afford 91 octane or the insurance to go with it, or the parent-thing. Lol, i think ill be at least 30 (14yrs from now) b4 ill ever get anything remotely supercharged. (Tho a few performance mods unknown to parents or the insurance company could be in order... hehehe)

Hi
My '89 Regency had 265, 000 when traded and the '95 Royale it was replaced with , had 245,000 when I traded it for my LSS.
I drive about 55k a year..so the miles come quick.
